The Ludlow Fire Dept. Social Club and Rock The Boot committee would like to announce that proceeds from this years show will go towards Carlene Bohl's brave battle with cancer. Carlene is a Ludlow resident and wife of Springfield Police Officer Bob Bohl. Bob is also long time president of the Ludlow Baseball Association and has been instrumental in the development of youth sports programs in Ludlow, particularly baseball. Bob has recently stepped down as president of the LBA to aid in Carlene's battle. The goal behind the Rock The Boot concerts over the years is to assist local families affected by MD and other ailments, and the LFD is honored and grateful to be able to assist the Bohl family through this show.. Rock The Boot is AUGUST 16 at the Ludlow Fish & Game Club. ENTER THE HAGGIS and JONATHON EDWARDS headlines. Lobsters From Marz, The Kings, and Kerri Powers also.. vendors, Lupa Zoo, face painting, food/drink. Tickets are $20. Kids 12 & under FREE.. Tickets can be purchased in advance at rocktheboot.org, at LFD or by calling (413) 218-5369. Please help us spread the word and turn this out. We are also looking for a couple of teams for the volleyball tournament that happens that day before the show starts... Inbox me with any questions you may have....
